Arti Ajit Hirani is a shareholder at Meenakshi A. Hirani, P.A., focusing on estate planning, international tax, and probate law. She is highly skilled in mediation, with experience handling felony and misdemeanor matters, negotiating complex settlements, and managing large-scale insurance coverage disputes. She has served as first-chair in trials and overseen cases involving multiple claimants, including managing a single matter with nearly 90 clients.
Arti’s leadership in the legal community is unparalleled. She made history as the youngest president of the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) and the first Indian-American to hold the position. She is also the only OCBA president to retain her seat on the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Board of Governors. Today, she continues her leadership journey as the current President of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, leading and shaping statewide initiatives that impact the next generation of Florida lawyers. A past president of the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers (CFAWL), Arti remains deeply committed to her profession and giving back.
Arti’s academic accomplishments are equally exceptional. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and earned her juris doctorate from the Dwayne Andreas Barry School of LawIn 2021, she completed her Executive MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, one of the world’s top programs for executive education. She also earned her LL.M. in International Taxation from the University of Florida’s Fredric G. Levin College of Law, the nation’s leading public graduate tax program—pursuing both degrees simultaneously and attending each program in person. Despite the demanding schedule, she grew her practice by 33% during this period and expanded her leadership roles within the legal community.
In addition to her legal and academic achievements, Arti is the founder of Will Depository, an innovative online platform dedicated to securely storing estate planning documents. The platform provides individuals and families with a safe, accessible, and reliable location for vital legal documents, offering peace of mind during life’s most challenging moments.
