The Annual Young Lawyers Division Affiliate Outreach Conference is scheduled for February 5-7 in Orlando

Arti Hirani: ‘The YLD is truly everywhere, coming to you in circuits, law schools, and Zoom screens across the state. Whether we connect in person in your circuit or online, we encourage you to be sure to join us at AOC.’
The Young Lawyers Division kicked off the new calendar year with a webinar workshop, “The Gift You Give Yourself: Sealing & Expungement,” on January 8.
YLD President Arti Hirani or Orlando said the event was “exceptionally well attended…featuring phenomenal speakers and thoughtful, engaging questions from the audience.”
Hirani said the YLD plans to build on that success with free monthly virtual seminars.
Affiliate engagement is a priority for Hirani, who has been visiting three affiliates each week ahead of the upcoming Young Lawyers Division Affiliate Outreach Conference, scheduled for February 5-7 in Orlando.
“The YLD is truly everywhere, coming to you in circuits, law schools, and Zoom screens across the state,” she said. “Whether we connect in person in your circuit or online, we encourage you to be sure to join us at AOC.”
AOC grant applications are now open and will close January 30. For more information, click here. To apply for a grant, each affiliate must submit a written application in advance and make an in-person presentation to the Grant Committee at the conference. Applicants must have at least one representative register for and attend the required AOC events — the in-person grant presentation, AOC general session, and Professionalism Showcase — to be eligible to receive grant funds.
